Our resort is one of the first roadside camps in Wisconsin. June & John Aschenbrenner Sr bought Johnnies Resort in 1947. John Aschenbrenner Jr came home from college in the 80's to carry on the family tradition of running Johnnies Resort and still carries on this tradition along with his sweetheart and wife Cheryl Aschenbrenner.
In the summer months we take pride in maintaining the buildings and grounds, growing geraniums and many other flowers in several colors that can be admired around the compound. We have hundreds of hummingbirds swarming around the feeders overlooking Wabikon Lake as well as many other birds we feed year round.
During the winter months snow takes center stage at Johnnies Resort located on the 100 Mile Snow Safari Trail. Johnnies Resort is coined by "Johnnie" as the snowmobile capital of the northwoods!
When we are not working, which isn't very often at Johnnie's Resort, we love spending time fishing & playing with our grandchildren.
